Account Executive, Americas
About Us
Flagsmith is an open-source feature flag and remote configuration tool. Flagsmith was built by developers who needed an open-source tool and couldn’t find one on GitHub. We’re a bootstrapped company that believes strongly in building a great product and making it easy for people to deploy and use the product. We grew 150% last year on our bootstrapping path, and the company remains profitable and ready to grow more in 2024.
Flagsmith offers an open-source product. We also offer hosted cloud, private cloud, and on-premise deployment options. This means that people can host the product however suits them. We focus on building a great product, making it widely accessible, and bootstrapping so that we can build consciously and without a predetermined path ahead of us.
We’re growing our go to market team to continue to grow the company!
We are a 100% remote team, currently based in Europe, India and both North and South America. We are specifically looking for someone in the US East or Midwest timezone. You can be located in North or South America. Applicants from other time zones will not be considered. You’ll report directly to the CEO.
You can send your cv/resume to jobs@flagsmith.com. (No recruiters please.)
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for another Account Executive to join our team for our North and South American region. You’ll help show people the value of Flagsmith to our customers. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, proficient in wearing multiple hats, has a customer-centric approach, is a tactical thinking (not a brute force seller), and is self-motivated to work autonomously. We want someone who can grow with us!
Our ideal candidate will have experience selling in the development tool space. You’ll have a solid track record of building your own pipeline and finding opportunities in your territory. We are ok with having a mix of selling in the mid-market and enterprise space. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a growth mindset that can operate well in a less defined space.
What You’ll Do
- Ownership of accounts in your region - landing, expanding, and renewing your accounts.
- Territory and Account Planning: Develop comprehensive territory and account plans, proactively drive outbound pipeline generation independently, and collaborate effectively with Marketing.
- Successful Adoption: Ensure the seamless adoption of Flagsmith within these accounts through robust account management. Coordinate with pre-and-post sales engineering, customer success, and support teams to guarantee success.
- Level-up Flagsmith’s Visibility: Increase Flagsmith visibility and communicate our value proposition effectively to Vice Presidents and C-Suite executives within these large enterprises.
- Team Mindset: Work closely with engineering counterparts to deliver both business and technical value to prospects and customers.
- Working together: Collaborate with internal teams, including product support, developers, marketing, and customer success, to align our offerings with new customers.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ Years of AE Sales Experience, with specific experience in the dev or product tool space
- The ability to forecast your deals and impact on the business
- Solid track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota expectations
- Ability to navigate sales cycles with key stakeholders in a diverse set of clients and various portfolio sizes
- You have experience implementing and succeeding with a Land & Expand SaaS Sales strategy, effectively expanding business within your accounts.
- Keen understanding of customers’ desires and pains, and the ability to translate it into account plans.
- Deep empathy for customers to build strong relationships.
- Collaborative approach both internally and externally
